Staffing Changes

June 26, 2019

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I wish to inform you that as of June 29, 2019, Mrs. Andrea Gringhuis will be leaving the position of vice principal of Ecole Mother Teresa School (EMTS) and she will begin a new position as vice principal at our school division’s year round school, St. Patrick’s Community School, commencing August 8, 2019. On behalf of the students, staff, parents and parish I would like to thank Mrs. Gringhuis for her years of dedication to EMTS as a teacher and administrator.  Her faith and many skills as an administrator were a gift to our school community. She consistently was exploring ways to ‘make Christ known to our children’. She was an amazing team mate in administration and an avid supporter of students’ Catholic education. I want to wish Mrs. Gringhuis God’s grace, mercy and blessings as she transitions to her new school.

I would like to welcome to our school our new vice principal, Mrs. Michelle Khatib. She will officially begin on August 28th, 2019, however transition plans for her arrival are beginning immediately to allow time to learn about our amazing Catholic school culture.

We would like to introduce Mrs. Angela Sola who will be joining our Grade 5 team, she is transferring from Father Henri Voison. We would like to introduce Mrs. Lori Kelly who will be joining our Middle School team. We would like to introduce Mrs. Lise Paradis who will be joining our Middle School team. We would also like to introduce Ms. Kathy Beauchamp who will be joining our Educational Assistant team. We look forward to the gifts, and talents that each of these new staff members will bring to our school community. Welcome to EMTS!

We would like to extend our grace and blessings to those staff that are leaving us this year. To Mrs. Morgan McMullen, she will be joining the school community of St. Martin de Porres. To Mrs. Portia Reynolds, she will be joining the school community of St. Patrick’s Community School. To Ms. Maria King who will be working on her Master’s Degree, we wish her all the best in her studies. To Mrs. Janna Armstrong and Ms. Sarah Roth, we want to thank you for your gifts and service to our school community and students.

We are blessed to retain our core teaching and support staff for next school year, and we look forward to a very exciting school year to come.

God Bless,

Shane Chisholm
