On Maternity Leave

I started teaching in 2011 and truly believe God has led me to this career. Every student is unique and can bring many strengths into the classroom. My goal to let these talents shine and hopefully we can learn from one another. It has been a great blessing to teach at EMTS since 2014. I have been fortunate enough to teach my favourite subject, MATH. I believe every student can learn math and that the mistakes made along the way are valuable to their learning journey.
I enjoy hiking in the mountains, golfing and curling. Most importantly, I love spending time with my husband and two children.
“We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop” -Mother Teresa

Education: I completed my education degree through the University of Alberta, majoring in math and minoring in health. Recently, I finished my Masters in Educational Technology & Design through the University of Saskatchewan.
